Game News: Resident Evil 6 Is Currently The Worst-Reviewed Main Game Of The Entire Series

Recent negative verdicts have included a 4.5/10 from Gamespot and, even more damningly, a staggering 3/10 from Jim Sterling at Destructoid – who angrily lambasted Capcom’s action-blockbuster as “a Michael Bay movie”, “a coward of a game” and “poor by the standards of any game”.
Common criticisms have included an over-reliance on quick-time events, bloated cut-scenes and tedious combat sequences, while many fans of the series have decried the near-total abandonment of survival-horror.
As it stands, no numbered series installment has garnered worse reviews overall – though Game Informer, IGN and a number of well-known sites have delivered positive verdicts.
