Movie News: Laurence Fishburne joins Man of Steel.
Best known for his role as Morpheus in The Matrix Trilogy, Laurence Fishburne has been cast in Zack Snyder’s Superman Reboot as Perry White – Clark Kent and Lois Lane’s boss. He follows in the footsteps of Jackie Cooper who played the Editor-in-Chief in the original quadrilogy of films and Frank Langella, who took on the role in Bryan Singer’s 
Superman Returns.
Superman Returns.Fishburne joins Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Kevin Costner (Jonathan Kent) and Michael Shannon (General Zod) in the Christopher Nolan produced movie.
With filming due to commence this autumn, Man of Steel is slated for a 2013 summer release.
