Gaming News: Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock Announced

First seen on the BBC website yesterday, then promptly taken down and now up on the official PlayStation blog, is a teaser for a new game starring the Doctor. Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock was confirmed for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. No news on a release date or what format it will be, downloadable or retail.

The Eternity Clock does feature the voice talents of Matt Smith (the Doctor) and Alex Kingston (River Song)  and the actors will be motion captured as well. The story will have the Doctor and River taveling through time and space in order to save the Earth. The characters actions will effect different timelines and will allow players to solve puzzles in mulitple eras.

Being developed by Supermassive Games who created Tumble for the PSN and Start the Party, a Move-compatible retail game. More information on Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock will be revealed next year.
