Gaming News: Vita Launch Games And U.S. Pricing Announced

The launch games for Sony’s new handheld gaming system, the PS Vita, have been announced. When it lands in stores in the U.S. on February 22, 2012, the games will range from $9.99 to $49.99, with the lower end of that price spectrum including titles like Escape Plan and Super Stardust Delta, while the $50 games will most likely include Uncharted: Golden Abyss.

Sony has also announced that every Vita unit will come packaged with six AR cards and a voucher to download AR games to play them with. As for the memory card pricing, it is a little better than expected. According to Sony the 4GB card will retail for $19.99, the 8GB for $29.99, the 16GB for $59.99 and the 32GB for $99.99. There will also be an official “Starter Kit”, which includes a 4GB memory card, a screen cover, a game case, headphones and a cleaning cloth for $40.
