Critically-acclaimed platformer Rayman Origins will be heading to the PC and Nintendo 3DS in March, and has also been confirmed as a February release for the PS Vita, Ubisoft announced today.

The colourful  comeback recieved universal praise when it was released on consoles in November, and has since been up for countless ‘Game of the Year’ awards.

As a special bonus for PC players, Rayman Origins will be packaged with legendary platformer Rayman 2: The Great Escape as a pre-order incentive, if ordered from the Ubisoft website.

Playstation Vita owners will also be treated to a new feature if they pick up the game, as players will be able to send ‘Ghost Time-Trials’ to their friends, who can then attempt to beat their best time in one of the game’s 60+ levels.

With a HD remake of Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc already comfirmed for an early 2012 release, the coming year is shaping up to be a very bright one for platform enthusiasts and Rayman fans alike.
