From the moment it was first announced, it was clear that Suda51′s cheerleader vs zombies slash ‘em up was going to be heavy in the bat-shit crazy stakes – and now it’s been revealed that Lollipop Chainsaw features  appropriately anarchic sonic backing from a man named ‘Jimmy Urine’.

Urine, AKA Jimmy Euringer, is the frontman and programmer for New York electro-punks Mindless Self Indulgence, and has composed all of the music featured during the game’s bonkers-looking boss battles.

“While protagonist Juliet is hacking and slashing her way through boss fights, Jimmy’s insane music will accompany every gory chainsaw swipe – making this game a true combination of sex, blood and over-the-top rock n’ roll,” a press release stated.

Original music from legendary Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka will also be on tap throughout the game, which is due to hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox360 later this year.
