The line-up for this year’s V Festival has been announced, and it’s something of a cracker…

The festival will be headlined by The Stone Roses, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Killers and Snow Patrol. The main surprise of the pack is undoubtedly The Killers, who were not among the rumoured acts leading up to the big announcement.

Also confirmed are reunited Manchester act Happy Mondays, as well as David Guetta, Nicki Manij, Tinie Tempah, Ed Sheeran, Example, Keane, Madness and Friendly Fires.

Tickets for the event, which takes place at Weston Park, Staffordshire and Hylands Park, Essex over the weekend of August 18th and 19th, go on sale this coming Friday. For more information, visit the official site.
