Electronic Arts have confirmed that a third installment in hit sci-fi FPS franchise Crysis is in development, with a reveal trailer coming on April 16th. The game was accidentally revealed through EA’s Origin service last week.

The game will serve as a sequel to 2011′s immensely popular Crysis 2, which was released to widespread critical acclaim including 9/10 reviews from major publications such as IGN and GameSpy.

EA released the statement “The best kept secret in shooters just can’t be contained. Stay tuned for more information on April 16″, but there are still no real available details aside from the leaked cover artwork.

With the franchise already boasting some of the best graphics ever-seem in video-games, along with innovative gameplay and highly-addictive online multiplayer, Crysis 3 will be one to watch for the future. Stay tuned to FMV for all the latest details.
